Customer Travel Tip: Don't try to cover the city over a weekend. Put in 5-6 days to really enjoy the city. Do not plan! The city is worth exploring! And please visit Zostel!

Liked: This was my 3rd trip to Udaipur. The Regal city is simply enchanting. Everything about it is Regal. You can't help but delve deeper in to the cuture. Udaipur evenings are probably the best in Rajasthan with the city being lit up like a dream.

Disliked: In the last few years, Udaipur has become commercialised. With all the hotels and cab people pestering you as soon as you enter the city, Zostel was a saving grace.

Customer Travel Tip: Take the cheap boat at sunset out onto the lake, find the little bald guy who takes a Yoga class early evenings near the walking bridge across the lake end, go and see the dance show one night.

Liked: I liked the people of Udaipur. I was studying painting and i meet a family. people on the streets were genuinely friendly. I was invited into homes, it was safe and easy to move throughout the entirety of the city. there was so much to do aswell as just sit back and have a lassi and watch the world and the light change on the lake

Customer Travel Tip: AVOID STAYING IN OLD CITY EVEN THOUGH MANY HOTELS CLAIM THAT THEIR PROPERTIES ARE HERITAGE PROPERTIES.

Liked: PEOPLE IN GENERAL ARE FRIENDLY. CITY PALACE IN UDAIPUR AND CHOTTORGARH FORT 125 K.M. DISTANCE ARE MUST SEE PLACES FOR TOURISTS. PUPPET SHOW AND DANCES WITH RAJASTANI CULTURE IN BAHORE-KI-HAVELI ARE GOOD.

Disliked: ROADS IN OLD CITY OF UDAIPUR ARE VERY NARROW AND WE ARE SURPRISED THAT GOVT. HAS NOT TAKEN ANY ACTION FOR IMPROVING INFRASTRUCTURE IN SUCH IMPORTANT TOURIST PLACE.
