Travel Type:

Trip Type:
Sports, adventure or outdoor activities

Customer Travel Tip: Book a trek into the Himalayan foothills - awesome!

Liked: The views Much quieter than most Indian cities. Very little hassle. Very pleasant walks. Interesting attractions - the zoo, toy train etc.

Disliked: The dirt and litter thrown on the ground anyhow. The water channels which run down between the buildings and are dry out of the rainy season were simply chocked with piles of refuse. Very few interesting restaurants serving authentic Indian food.

10 Dec 2013

Customer Travel Tip: Enjoy a wonderful cup of tea and views at Nathmull's Tea room in Laden La road.

Liked: The stunning views (when the clouds cleared), the friendly people - no hassle from touts, generally honest, decent people.

Disliked: The noise of car horns, including at 3.30 a.m. (people driving out to Tiger Hill to see the sunrise). It spoils what would otherwise be an exeptionally beautiful place.
