Customer Travel Tip: Aim for sept-march for travelling, travel light - there are a lot of shops with cheap clothes that are great for moving around in so you neednt pack a lot. The city offers excellent coffee and cake at bakeries and cafes strewn all over the main road.

Liked: I loved the culture and heritage this city brings to life. People are easy going and helpful and very warm. Eating out is great value for money compared to a lot of metros in India and my sister loved the seafood. I would love to come back to Cochin!!!:-)

Disliked: Probably the time of the year we picked to visit Cochin was not that great - it is quite sultry in May

Customer Travel Tip: to worth staying too long in my opinion, but a worthwhile place to stop over

Liked: It's ok. Quite low key, very touristy in parts, and a little more expensive than other parts of southern India. But good place to spend a couple of days and good point to start backwater trip.

Disliked: See previous comment.
