Customer Travel Tip: Dont bother to go there

Liked: Nothing much

Disliked: Camel safari very disappointing due to total lack of interest from staff who then expected big tips (after tying the camels to the back of fhe cart and all 5 of them resting and sleeping in the cart, paying no attention to us or the camels)

Customer Travel Tip: Find a relaxing place to lodge, not on Station Rd. You will want to chill out after negotiating Bikaner City.

Liked: Not a major tourist destination. Some interesting places to see in the Old City. & easy access to Deshnok & Kolayat for day trips & private bus stand good for long distance journey's

Disliked: Pretty dirty & polluted but not much worse than some others. Difficult to get much information in English language-it's not geared to foreign tourism.

Customer Travel Tip: People are very friendly. It is worth to visit Bikaner aleast once in life. We went in self driven vehicle, if so, keep road maps of area & city & GPS for each move.

Liked: Bikaner is very popular among tourists. Each hotel shall atleast arrange a road map having popular sites indicated therein and a brief background of each such spot. This will be a great help/guide to tourists.

Disliked: We went in Bikaner city to see some havelis and felf very bad to see that the inner roads, water sivers syetem, trafic conditions were not maintained propertly. Lot of stray cows buffalo and their dung were seen all around.

Customer Travel Tip: Book a safari with the owner of Vinayak guest house! He is a perfect guide who is a zoologist and can explain everything about wildlife in the desert. He also knows the best places to spot rare animals and can tell you about todays problems of the desert area.

Liked: It is a nice town with less tourism than Jaiselmar. Nice Havelis and sights in the city and an amazing wildlife surronding. Perfect place to start a camel safari.

Disliked: In summers it gets really hot in this place.

Customer Travel Tip: Give it a miss

Liked: The Fort - a 2 hour visit only so a long way to come for this

Disliked: Lack of decent places to eat without rickshaw travel, the old city was crowded and dirty with not much to offer, the place was a disappointment & we have travelled Rajasthan for 2 months and loved it.

Customer Travel Tip: Go to the fort and leave !!!!

Liked: The fort is realy nice. The inside of the royal appartments are wonderfull... The rats templs is worth a quick visit but it's not a reason to come to Bikaner !

Disliked: The street are dirty and dusty as usual in india but these don't have any charm or cultural interest. The Jain temples are not interesting...
