Customer Travel Tip: Go see Buda Castle once in the daytime, and go again at night. It's a completely different experience. Nighttime in Budapest is unreal--and entirely majestic. Go to Bango Margit Konyhaja and eat the stuffed mushroom caps (only 1190 ft.)! AMAZING. I thought the spas (we went to Szechenyi) was cool but overrated. Nice to go for two hours or so, but not for a whole day.

Liked: Budapest was a great city, but I had been expecting something different. First of all, it's a lot bigger than i ever thought it would be, and all the main tourist attractions are fairly spread out, so be ready for lots of walking. It was much hotter than i ever thought it would be, so bring sunscreen! The city overall is beautiful, the food is amazing (and relatively cheap!

Disliked: If you want to go to Parliament, get your tickets in advance. They were all sold out by 11 o'clock BOTH days we checked. The people will tell you to come back tomorrow, but you will basically need to be in line at 8 am. We ended up not getting into it at all. :(

Customer Travel Tip: Don't hurry to visit tourist sites. Just have a walk though the city and enjoy.

Liked: Beautiful and relaxed. A lot of people outside at night, but you still feel secure. Not a busy and crowded place, but a lively city. Not that much sightseeing to do, so you can just lay on the grass in a park and relax.

Disliked: Museums are cheap, but quite small. After paying too much for too little a few times, we just stopped entering them. The National Museum was good though.
