Liked: The wonderful colorful culture & dress of the women. Getting around the lake via boat. The choices of food & drink. The beautiful volcanoes. Fun hostels where we can meet other adventurous travelers.

Customer Travel Tip: Make sure you know what time the last boats are so that you don't get suck in the wrong town at the end of the day. The day trip to the Chichi market is worth it.

Liked: The landscape is lovely and generally the people are very friendly.

Disliked: The hassle from people when getting off the boats at the towns. They could be very pushy and would not take no for an answer.

Customer Travel Tip: watch the weather. We had great weather and an amazing time. Heard from other travelers that were there during some storms they didnt enjoy as much. Its easy enough to change a shuttle to shift your days if it looks like there is going to be really bad weather.

Liked: Beautiful. A must see if you are in Guatemala. Very relaxing, but can go to Panajachel for more things to do. The towns around the lake are great and there are cooperatives for shopping direct from the people.

Disliked: no!
