Customer Travel Tip: Buy your bus ticket back when yoou purchase your outgoing one. Also, do not expect a lot from the museum at the archeological site unless you already have a firm grasp of history and Greek mythology. Wear good walking shoes for the hike to the site itself.

Customer Travel Tip: Check the current hours for the sites and the museum. In our case, we spent the hot afternoon in the museum (which closed at 5pm), and then spent the early evening at the site, which stayed open until 8pm while we were there. Meant it was much cooler, and the dwindling sunlight gave the ruins an impressive ambiance.
Liked: Great archaeological site with a lot of history to see, though I recommend reading up on the history of the site before you come, so that the relics will have more impact. Excellent museum which was not too busy. The town of Delphi is basically an "Estes Park" town - operated entirely for the benefit of the tourists. That means everyone spoke good English, there were many accommodations and restaurants, and a few daily buses back to Athens.
Disliked: The fact that the town is built for tourists is nice, but also means it is a bit plastic - not a lot of "real" local color. Some other local towns, like Antikyra are much more laid back and real.

Customer Travel Tip: Don't necessarily trust what the locals tell you about bus times etc. They're lovely people and mean well, but they don't always know and often the bus company has changed the times anyway!
Liked: Everything other than the transport links
