Customer Travel Tip: You don't really need more than a day or two here-- get some bikes, enjoy the beaches and the trails, hit up the markets, wander through centre ville and Mourillon, and go to Porquerolles, the island! Enjoy the port!
Liked: I'm living in Toulon this year as an assistant and it's okay for a year-- beaches and great weather, but because there is no university the night life sort of sucks. The only transportation is the buses, but luckily I have a bike and there are some amazing trails in the area! But Mont Faron is very cool, and so are the beaches. There are some cute pubs, too. Luckily it is easy to get to other places from Toulon.
Disliked: As I said I'm living here. It's a city on the Cote d'Azur so there's not much to complain about!
