Customer Travel Tip: Make sure you visit Botham's bakery. Often packed due to it's popularity, tasty treats and value for money, but always well staffed

Customer Travel Tip: GET FISH'N'CHIPS.

Liked: I liked the coastal feeling! Seeing Captain Cook's statue was SWELL. Also, the fish and chips were SO GOOD here!

Customer Travel Tip: Make sure you have proper waterproof jacket and trousers, weather can change and it iks quite exposed. Wiht the right gear, you can fully enjoy your experience. You have train connection to Middlesborough, North Yorkshire Moors (Grosmont and Egton, then onto Pickering). Bus connetions to Yourk and Scarborough and other places. Nice walk to Robin Hood bay, or Staithes, both served by buses.

Liked: History, nature, culture all in one place. Pretty, friendly, lively, but not rowdy.

Disliked: Hard/impossible to find affordable accommodation at the time of the goths festival (hALLOWEEN).

Customer Travel Tip: plan ahead what you want to see as it can get very busy and crowded eat early about 12.00 to avoid huge ques at food outlets.

Liked: a charming old fashioned town with plenty to see and do. Information is readily available. Prices are reasonable and there are a variety of good restaurants.

Disliked: If you have walking difficulties it can be a little awkward up the steep hills.

Customer Travel Tip: Bring your walking shoes and watch your bags, my mother had a near miss pickpocket this year i'm just glad i see everything.

Liked: I just love the location and the feel of the place, we go every year for the regatta and love it.

Disliked: Too Many people for my taste but i don't know if its like that all the time or just on festival and event times

Customer Travel Tip: Wear sterdy shoes as the best way to get around whitby is walking and it is full of cobbled streets!

Liked: Lots of nice little shops, a swinging bridge (not many lef in the country of these!), very pretty friendly little placce

Disliked: watch out if you are eating fish and chip swalking along - the seagulls are like MUTANTS and will swoop down and steal your food - and fingers if you are not careful!
