Customer Travel Tip: Go coasteering! They cater for everyone from thrill seekers to armchair warriors :-)

Liked: Easy to get around. Good selection of places to eat and drink. Great selection of fun stuff for all ages around the harbour like crazy golf, lawn bowls ( yeah I know, but give it a go!), pitch & putt etc. loads of nearby watersports - coasteering was awesome!

Disliked: Quite a few chavs wondering around town, but didn't see any trouble.

Customer Travel Tip: Come here if you'd like to visit pubs!

Liked: The nightlife! Really good!

Disliked: I hoped that the coastline was more pretty. If you like hiking, you'd beter go to Penzance and from there go to Lizard Point and Portcurno and make hikes.

Customer Travel Tip: If arriving by coach at the local station, it maybe better to book a taxi into town. The walk to the seafront may be difficult to negotiate for the elderly, disabled or passengers with heavy luggage. Also, if you are going to print off a local map from the internet, for directions make sure you chose one that names all the side streets to prevent getting lost!

Liked: Torquay has not been destroyed with cheap, tacky over commercialism. There is a good balance of things to do, buy and eat in keeping with the traditions of the area. I particularly was attracted to local policies concerning sustainable living and the preservation of areas of outstanding beauty in addition to efforts made by holiday companies to comply with eco-friendly practices within their parks. I do hope the emphasis on active, healthy family holidays both on and off the water together with fun, educational venues ( such as living coasts) continue to grow and enhance Tor bays coasts of outstanding natural beauty and marine areas of scientific interest.

Disliked: A very popular place made Torbay too crowded for me at times. However, the streets were immaculate and visitors behaviour were of no problem. I have concerns too of the amount of jet skiers using the harbour areas as a play ground. Whilst understanding that this sport is a fun packed adventure on the water, could there possibly be an area specifically allocated for jet skiers.? Water skiers, wind surfers, divers and leisure boaters are finding it increasingly difficult to relax and enjoy their time on the water due to the dangers imposed by some noisy, speeding jet skiers!

Customer Travel Tip: Get the £5 return trip to Dartmouth it's a fantastic day out, so relaxing and scenic. Worth every penny!! I would have paid 20x that in Australia and still been chuffed with it! Then catch a bus out to Totnes for an afternoon its the cutest little town ever! Ttalk to as many locals as possible to find out their best tips and watch out for seagulls because they are vicious.

Liked: The harbour and seaside were spectacular. Being able to get on a day trip and go to Dartmouth for £5 return was absolutely unbelievable. Despite the weather being ordinary it was a fantastic place to stay, very pretty and it had all the shops and sights to have plenty to do for 4 days. My favorite part was going on the boat to Dartmouth, I saw dolphins and got attacked by a killer seagull who attempted to steal my lunch. Plus I caught a bus out to Totnes which is a gorgeous little riverside town with so many quirky shops and history. Paignton would have been amazing to sit on the seaside if the weather wasn't so rubbish, overall a beautiful part of the English coast!
