Liked: Interesting city culturally, lots to visit and lots of history.

Disliked: Like most cities in Egypt, pretty dusty, the buildings are falling down. Transport is a nightmare. Trains need to be reserved a few days in advance, Impossible to buy a train ticket for same day travel. Bus transport is impossible to understand. No one would want to get on the tramway. Taxis are always hit and miss.

Disliked: many liers in alexandria. of course taxi drivers should asked for a super highest fee and the tea shop in bus station also no honest. there are professiona liers decieving tourists too. the approaching you and seems friendliness. then take you to shopping and having meal for super expensive price. they even say offering good arrangement for your coming trip un egypt then show u a slip only it price quoted then say they have paid for you already and you have to pay now. iam sure not only one but many. ore than in cairo. so people are better not go to alex.
