Customer Travel Tip: 1-2 days is probably enough time, but this is a very relaxing, wonderful spot if you wish to see some jungle without traveling too far.
Liked: The forest is beautiful. The weather was great. Ziplining in Mindo was the highlight of our trip. The town is very small, and we liked how there was only one main street. We also enjoyed the bbq on the back of the main street (walk from the entrance of town to the park, turn left, then left again. There is a friendly woman who bbq's for supper every evening. The food is delicious, very cheap, and enormous portions).
Disliked: We wished there were more hiking trails. Also, some of the equipment (such as the yellow canopy trolley, and even the ziplines) did not appear to be well-maintained. They made you pay in order to access the trail to the waterfalls, which we disliked.

Customer Travel Tip: Don't be upset or surprised that the locals don't speak much (or any) English. I mean... it's Ecuador. They are very laid back, and don't like to rush anything, so just go with the flow. Get out there, explore, practice your English, and HAVE FUN!
Liked: Birdwatching, the food, the people.
Disliked: no.
