Customer Travel Tip: If you like Rock Climbing, go to Cojitambo! :)

Liked: it feels like a modern city, very clean compared to others in Ecuador, environmentally friendly and good therm baths.

Disliked: The modern city comes from people with money. Many posh areas are around, and its a bit different to the rest of Ecuador. Still the atmosphere is good.

Customer Travel Tip: Go to the market in the centre of town, it has as much if not more then the bigger market in Feria Libre.

Liked: The charm, heritage and culture of the city. Very peaceful and easy to get around.

Disliked: The price of food in the city, but that seems to be Ecuador with the strong influence of the ISD. Overrated....

Customer Travel Tip: Download the Ecuador offline map (no internet required) and get out and walk the city. Many of the streets are not marked with a street name so the offline map is really helpful. Also take the bus tour around the city (5.00 per adult)--gives you the lay of the land and points out many points of interest.

Liked: We like the culture, friendliness of the people and great food available. There is every kind of cuisine you can think of available. We also liked the fact that it is a very walkable city ---no car required.

Disliked: Exhaust from the buses---but we were told that the buses will be changed over shortly eliminate the problem and there is also a light rail system in the works . Takes a while to get used to the Ecuadorian drivers.
