Customer Travel Tip: Stay in the old town to get a real flavour of the place as it is vey relaxed, tranquil and walk aroung the old town to admire the medieval streets and venetian architecture.

Liked: Peaceful, sense that locals still lived there, not just a tourist town. Architecture well looked after and chance to buy local produce at a local market. Tourism very low key, locals very friendly and helpful.

Disliked: Very small so as stayed only one day could perhaps run out of things to do if don't reent a scooter/boat etc.

Customer Travel Tip: 2 full days and 1 night is possibly enough unless you are after total relaxation and a quiet time. It is very pretty and time should be taken to explore the local areas. Everybody is very friendly and the ice cream is amazing!

Liked: It's so quiet and relaxing here that you may find you run out of things to do, Komiza is not a big town although it is very beautiful and Vis town is not a lot bigger. It's perfect for those that want to get away from the hustle and bustle of everything. You'll find yourself getting more relaxed by the second!

Disliked: maybe a little too sleepy? however it has only been open to tourism since the 80s :)

Customer Travel Tip: Rent a scooter to see the rest of the island, and ask about Stiniva cove, a secluded beach surrounded by huge rocky cliffs that you must hike down to. It was not much more money to rent the scooter for 24 hours instead of 12 hours, so do that and take it out to Vis for the more lively nightlife!

Liked: We were in Komiza at the end of May, just before the busy season really started, so it was probably a bit quieter than it would be during the summer months. It is a small, quaint town with a couple of small beaches, a few pretty good restaurants, and many cafes and bars. There is a night club on the beach that we had heard about but that hadn't started up yet for the season when we were there. We rented a scooter for the day and took it out to an incredibly beautiful somewhat hidden beach, which I would highly recommend. We took the scooter to the town of Vis that night for an outdoor concert and to go to the bars - also very fun and highly recommended.

Disliked: Stray cats! Otherwise, nothing really. We were unable to see the Blue Grotto on Bisevo island because we missed the ferry boat out there on our last day - there are only 1 or 2 ferries a day and the last one is at 10 am.
