Customer Travel Tip: The coffee was excellent and friendly co-owner of the Lizard King, Bethany, was very helpful. We did not stay there, but kinda wished we did. The Struthus Fusion (?) restaurant was very good. Tasty Waves had an incredible hamburger, and very good fish tacos for lunch. Mango's and Lazy Mon bars had some entertainment and again, it is a laid back, "rasta-mon" town. Local Caribbean food all over was good to excellent.

Liked: not a whole lot of tourists and no real tourist traps. excellent Caribbean food. beach area is so-so. laid back town with some entertainment locally. friendly people, especially the European & American local business owners.

Disliked: Weather is pretty rainy or overcast much of the year. Beach there is nothing special. Even Punta Uva, around 10 miles away, is way over-rated online and by locals compared to many, many other choices around the world, and even in the Caribbean.
