Customer Travel Tip: ride the metro, USD$0.95.

Liked: metro! metered taxis! after haggling and being dependent on people for everything for the last six months, medellin was a nice relaxing break. the nightlife scene in el poblado is everything from low-key to crazy-intense, so i liked retreating to a different nicer neighborhood like laureles or floresta to relax. the restaurants are good and offer a large variety of types and prices. the large number of universities means a constant rejuvenation of the culture.

Disliked: it's not a very picturesque city; though it has some unique features here and there, it's mostly 1- to 5-story orange brick boxes.

Liked: The metro was good for using and transport. The architecture of the city was modern.

Disliked: There are a lot of people who wants just money from the tourists and they ount more than it is normal, like in taxi or in the shops. During night main city centre was really dangerous. There are a lot of crazy people.
