Customer Travel Tip: Take your time and do it all. Come with an open mind. Don't let the weather get to you!

Liked: Bogota is amazing. It has it all...nightlife, culture, history, restaurants, shopping, nice excursions in the surrounding areas, beautiful landscapes. It is safe to walk around large parts of town (Zona T & G, Macarena, Chapinero Alto, Parque 93)

Disliked: The weather can be a bit tedious if you're unlucky. Candelaria is unsafe at night

Customer Travel Tip: Relax and enjoy candelaria. Don't let taxis rip you off. Find out how much it should cost and arrange this before you get in. Don't assume it will be a fair price because your hostel organised it.

Liked: Sophisticated beautiful historical centre.

Customer Travel Tip: Book a room in the area where you think you plan to spend most of your time. The Transmileneo can be used to get to the other places.

Liked: Due to the altitude, it tends to be cool. The Transmileneo runs well and is reasonably easy to navigate IF you can figure out the sign boards detailing the many local and express bus numbers--not easy!!!

Disliked: Traffic and street-level pollution can be bad. The Transmileo can get very crowded during commute time--which is much of the day/early evening!
