Customer Travel Tip: Be organised. If you can't speak in Chinese, find someone that can if you are having trouble finding where you need to get to...otherwise easy to get lost.

Liked: Visiting Yellow Mountains.

Disliked: Seeing someone sneezing on the bus and then proceed to empty the contents of their nose onto the bus floor wiyh their bare hands!!!

20 May 2015

Travel Type:
With my spouse / partner

Trip Type:
Backpacking / gap year

Customer Travel Tip: Stay at Huangshan B&B for a great overview of the region, local knowledge, culture, food and for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Steven won't let you loft a finger! The yellow mountain is difficult, event for fit and seasoned mountain climbers like us-do not underestimate it. Prices on the mountain are extortionate especially for the hotels... Beihai is awful quality. Do a tour of the Hui Villages! Use your drivers license as a 'student card' the guy on the entrance can't read it ;)

Liked: Culture, old town, the mountain. Ancient villages, local food. Stevens hospitality. Prices of food and drinks (except on the mountain), ease of getting around.

Disliked: Prices of food and entrance fee to the yellow mountain is very high!

Liked: Everything

Disliked: You have to pay for busses to get to the mountain. It seems likes you have to pay to 4 different areas before you even get in but it is highly worth it!
