Customer Travel Tip: You are the only person there. Do not care for anyone else. ;they don't care. So don't care either.

Liked: The Forbidden City was cool. The Great Wall was the best though. Go to Mutianyu unless you love crowds.

Disliked: The experience of going to China was very interesting. However, I could never live in such a place that is not so familiar to common courtesy as I am. Prepare to barge your way through wherever you want You must go and not give a s**t about anyone else. Wait, why are you even listening to me, you little**********

Customer Travel Tip: Be careful with who you book your trip

Liked: Culture

Disliked: I left my wallet at their cafe at the great wall. I only noticed when I arrived at the hostel, and I immediately talked with the reception. There, our tour guide said they already knew there was a lost wallet, but they thought it belonged to a chinese (there was no other group at the wall, plus my wallet had my cards with my name...). He called the cafe and said I had to pay 800 rmbi for the taxi to bring my wallet. They basically made my wallet hostage until I paid 500 rmbi which was all the money I had.

Customer Travel Tip: Knowing some common phases gets you a very long way when you are looking for places or ordering food. There are some wonderful apps that you can download than can help you on the road as well. People were very intrigued when our 10 year old spoke Mandarin! Just like any culture, they really appreicate the effort.

Liked: There is something amazing to see around every corner. You can't beat the local tourist sites: Forbidden City, the Summer Palace, the Great Wall at Mutianyu, the Hutongs and of course the amazing people we met every day.

Disliked: Although we loved Beijing and all the sites and sounds of this huge city, we are looking forward to seeing some of China's smaller towns and sites. The hustle and bustle takes some getting used to but once you get your bearings and adjust, you will have an amazing time.
