Customer Travel Tip: Be open minded, spontanious and don't freak out if something doesn't work out the way it was planned. Always take some tissues with you. Public toilets don't always offer toilet paper.

Liked: Great interesting city, very nice people. So many great places to see and to go to. In many parts very traditional, a lot of cultural experiences.

Disliked: Taking the bus is a challenge for people who don't speak Chinese, vegetarian food is great but not always easy to find for foreigners. The places that are too touristy are less fun than the less well-known places.

Travel Type:
With friends / other travellers

Trip Type:
City break Partying / nightlife Sightseeing & culture

Customer Travel Tip: Look on google maps and take the subway as much as possible, busses are only stuck in traffic and way too crowded. If you can, it is better to walk 10 minutes from a subway stop than to be stuck in a trafficjam for 30 minutes next to smelly sweaty badbreathed people.

Liked: Culture, subway network, a lot of sightseeing to do.

Disliked: Very crowded, Chinese culture includes spitting everywhere and cutting queues, so the bigger the city, the worse it gets. In Shanghai it was much more civilized.
