Customer Travel Tip: If you want to see the Magellan Penguins you need to come before April. We were pretty disappointed to miss them.

Liked: The Victorian architecture was really interesting. The huge topiary is really interesting. The parks are really nice.

Disliked: Similar to many Latin American towns, nothing is open on Sunday morning.

Customer Travel Tip: If you haven´t seen pinguines it is very nice.. otherwise if you wanna rest a day or two after travelling from Ushuaia or after Torres del Paine it´s okay!

Customer Travel Tip: Ensure you see the Emperor Penguins on a private farm on the other side of the straits.

Liked: Terrific location on the straits of Magellan

Disliked: Although a city, it was extremely quiet even on a Saturday. Almost eerie like quietude. This will be good for some and not so good for others...

Liked: Very good seafood, culture and interesting museums concerning the exploration time of the region.

Disliked: Punta Arenas is a good place to start excursions to the region, but the bad thing is, that tourist activities are overprized, everything is to expensive.

Customer Travel Tip: Good stop for who is traveling to Puerto Natales.

Liked: Pinguins, food.

Disliked: Nothing.

Customer Travel Tip: Stay 1 night only but the 1 day trip to Torre del Paine and returnwas excellent value

Liked: National Park Pali Aike was excellent

Disliked: The prices are too high for what is on offer (shopping, food, acommodation and excursions all too high)

Customer Travel Tip: Try to stay in Puerto Natales. Transport between the two cities is often and not so crowded.

Liked: It has an airport

Disliked: There are not a lot of things to see around. Puerto Natales is the city to go for these area.

Customer Travel Tip: A lot of places and tours shut in the winter
