Customer Travel Tip: We took a 2 day tour which I would recommend. There are 2 companies that the Island recommend you use and they were great. We learned so much and if you are going there you should take advantage. Go to the cultural dance show right across from the hotel it was great!

Liked: Restaurants and seafood was great. It is a awesome place to go. Give yourself a few extra days or have all tours booked ahead of time. From hotel you could walk to beach and see the Moai statues, its a easy walk.

Disliked: Not much to do at night if your into that. Also not much shopping which I didn't mind. No buses so you have to take cabs.

Customer Travel Tip: Put it on your bucket list. An absolute must to see and experience.

Liked: The people, culture, natural environment, harshness of position and isolation. Full day tour was good to give you an understanding of the timelines, cultural and speculation of events.

Disliked: There is little signage on the walks on where to go. This would be an area the Chilean Govt could do to improve tourism.

Backpacking / gap year Sightseeing & culture

Customer Travel Tip: There's so much more to the island then the Moai, definitely set aside time to visit Orongo/Rano Kau and a hike to the top peak of the island Terevaka is definitely worth the amazing views. At all costs avoid Ahu Ahu tours, the people on those buses looked like they were being herded around like cattle with 15-20 people per group!!! Go with Patricio from AO tours, excellent PERSONABLE service :)

Liked: Everything, Moai's, caves, mountains, craters
