Customer Travel Tip: Definitely do a cooking class, highlight of our visit to Cambodia.

Liked: This is truly a lovely city, packed full of culture and spending only a few days there wasn't enough. I'd happily come back to Cambodia just for this place. Fell in love with the friendliness, the food and the art!

Disliked: Nothing

Trip Type:
Sightseeing & culture

Customer Travel Tip: get a tuk tuk driver to take you to the bamboo train - great fun , phnom sampeau mountain - very steep climb to the top but great views and some stunning temple complex at the top . Also very sad and tragic 'killing fields' caves at this site. Just along from here you can witness the stunning spectacle of about 4 million bats leaving their cave at around sunset.

Liked: Chilled out atmosphere compared to siem reap and phnom penh. Just enough to do for 2 or 3 days. Central market , walk along the riverside , chinese temple , old french colonial architecture , nice bars / restaurants around 1.5 and 2.5 street areas.

Disliked: nothing really , but would probably run out of things to see after about 3 days

Customer Travel Tip: Bamboo train and killing caves. Ask your tuktukmoto driver to take the backroads not the "highway" - you get a nice impression of rural life.

Liked: To see cambodian rural life, visit the killing caves, take a bamboo train. Some nice cafes and bakeries though not exactly cheap.

Disliked: Not much to do here. Not very pretty. Don't try the wine!
