Customer Travel Tip: Get a local map and plan the points to visit beforehand so you don't end up wandering aimlessly. If you visit Bachkovo Monastery, make sure everything is open, we went to spend the day and most of the interest points were closed. Don't change your money in any airport, Plovdiv centre has plenty of change houses that respect the currency exchange rate.
Liked: People are friendly, very relaxed. Lots of history and culture, art and music. Kitties everywhere! And they seem to be well taken care after by the people. The old town is a place to stay for hours, kept the aspect of an ancient town, without any changes. Free shows in the roman amphitheatre, to see dance and music from the place. Loved it.
Disliked: People drive like mad.
