Customer Travel Tip: I have spend three days in Salvador and it was far too much.. I think that in a full day you can make a good tour of the city.

Liked: Nice beach front in Barra and the Pelhourino is nice to visit.

Disliked: Nice city but nothing spectacular, be really careful, some people got stolen during the day. I must admit I don't really felt safe there..

Trip Type:
Beach / sunbathing Partying / nightlife Sightseeing & culture

Customer Travel Tip: Go to a Rio Vermelho area where there is a square close to the beach with a closed church in it. It's the best place to drink beer and meet people, especially on fridays and saturdays. They have the Dinha's stand, the best Acarajé in town.

Liked: The weather was great, sunny and warm, everyday of my stay witch was during the winter. People from Salvador are very welcoming and fun.

Disliked: There were a lot of poor people high on heavy drugs wandering through the streets of the pelourinho area. They would be very persistent on asking for money and this was annoying. But this was a minor set back.
