Disliked: It didn't feel that safe, especially at night

Liked: the ourskirts and side excursions

Disliked: danger & dirtyness of historic area. many closures of museums and venues

Customer Travel Tip: Stay in city center or south-east corner

Liked: Beach, Climate, City Center

Disliked: As always in SA outer areas dangerous and ugly

Customer Travel Tip: Go there for carnival, wear comfortable shoes (not flip flops) and leave all your valuables in a safe at the hostel.

Liked: I was there for carnival and I preferred the traditional part in the old town. The boat trip over to the island was relaxing and a good way of getting away from the partying.

Disliked: By the end of the carnival the smell on the streets became a bit strong!

Customer Travel Tip: chain your property to yourself or go elsewhere.

Customer Travel Tip: Stay in the historic district, the Pelourinho. Most of what you need to see is around there.

Liked: It's extremely charming and full of life/culture. Easy to get around by foot and plenty to see.

Disliked: Felt less safe than other Brazilian cities, especially at night.

Liked: beautiful city full of music

Disliked: expensive restaurants

Liked: Pelhourinfo, Capoeira

Disliked: Salvador bus

Customer Travel Tip: seeing the only sun setting above the sea. there is just this one place in brazil where you can sea the sun setting like that.

Liked: really beautiful old town. great party on thursdays in the streets

Disliked: the men were quite aggressive and pushy towards women. i did not feel comfortable going out by my self

Customer Travel Tip: go to praia de forte very nice beach like paradise!!

Liked: Very good weather every day!

Disliked: The food is very unhealthy and allways with a lot of meet.

Disliked: worst cuisine anywhere ive been in the world. The standard of food is dreadful everywhhere i ate.

Disliked: Can be dodgy at times and at certain locations

Customer Travel Tip: Go to morro de sao paulo and do the boat turism as well.

Disliked: There is a lot of homeless in the central part of bahia..
