Trip Type:
Backpacking / gap year Sightseeing & culture Visiting friends or family

Customer Travel Tip: Besides the very nice old town (which you have seen in one day), there is not much to do and see there. Better move on! ;) The beaches in the city are not worth it to stay another day!

Liked: The old town is really pretty!

Disliked: It's kind of a sleepy city... And were everyone tells you: It's really unsafe here!

Travel Type:
With my spouse / partner

Trip Type:
Backpacking / gap year

Customer Travel Tip: Go for a couple days, visit the museum of modern art and sculpture part and sit in a restaurant with a bowl of traditional bahian stew and a few caipirinhas listening live music until they ask you to leave. It's wonderful.

Liked: The culture and history is great. Lots of beautiful architecture.

Disliked: It is very hard to go abut a normal day with out many homeless people begging for money or food. It can get a little tiring.
