Customer Travel Tip: Get to Pepe Cocktail Bar, the bartender is worth it! We didn´t use any public transportation at all, Salzburg is easy to walk and this way you will see any single corner better than moving from point to point via public transportation.
Liked: It is easy to reach by train and very close for short trips (starting for example from Munich like we did). There is enough culture and museums to visit but also an active young and night life.
Disliked: Smoking allowed anywhere at any time, even inside buildings. "Sorry, but....do I disturb you if I eat while you are smoking?"

Customer Travel Tip: Take with you an elegant suite to go to the concert halls. In town it seems people take very good care of the armony and the ambience of concert rituals. Take with you trekking equippemet to enjoy in pleasant walks. Taste the bread and the sweeties from the rural beckery nearby the flour mill!
Liked: Music all around and high level concerts of classical music. Nice trekking pathes and great equilibrium between culture and sport activities.
Disliked: Nope.

Customer Travel Tip: Get a plan of the city at the information centre (Mozartplatz) and then walk in the pedestrian streets.
Liked: The streets, the churches (especially the cathedral and Saint Peter with its cemetery) and the fortress of Hohensalzburg (especially the points of view). Climbing the Mönchsberg and the Kapuzinerberg was great too because the views of the historic centre are splendid from there. A little walk along the Salzach on the Giselakai was very pleasant. Ending the day in the Volkspark was perfect (with its beach bar and a peaceful atmosphere).
Disliked: The price of the fortress is too expensive.
