Customer Travel Tip: Drive over to Port Stephens (bus one way 4,60AUD for almost two hours) and go on a Moonshadow dolphin cruise (20AUD for 1,5 hours) If you have a car, check out the sanddunes near to Newcastle at sunset and/or do a coastal walk!

Liked: coastal walks, beaches, relaxed atmosphere, sanddunes nearby, Port Stephens nearby (cheap bus!!!)

Disliked: lack of nightlife

Liked: Very cute small village, very nice to walk around & we saw few seals by the light house

Customer Travel Tip: Head to the beach and also to the customs hotel opposite the station. They served up beer and burger for $10 - great atmosphere.

Liked: Very relaxed atmosphere and easy to get to the beach. Can get a good coffee too for only $2!

Disliked: Not much to do if you don't want to chill at the beach

Customer Travel Tip: Unless you have a real reason to stop there you can probably skip it on your tour of the east coast.

Liked: Chilled out. Darby Street had a cool quirky shop on it.

Disliked: There really isn't a whole lot to do during off-peak season. Is quite a boring place with no real reason to stop there.

Customer Travel Tip: Do it. The beaches in Sydney don't match up to these, it's defo worth the stop over

Liked: Bobbies beach, new castle beach, the bogey hole... All very good for relaxing!!
