Trip Type:
Backpacking / gap year

Customer Travel Tip: Never ever -under no circumstances- go to Darwin! If you're curious and go there: leave as fast as you can! And do NOT stay at the Banyan view lodge! And if you're going to the Kakadu National Park: Do NEVER EVER go there without an own car! Seriously: do not do that or you're gonna die!

Liked: Nothing! For people who like heat and humidity at least the weather might be nice. For me even that was horrible!

Disliked: Everything! There's nothing to do, it's just too hot to do anything, the people there are very rough, and the hostels do not offer free wi-fi. The hostel I stayed in even did not offer wi-fi at all. Just "free internet" that consisted of 1 spare PC for the whole!!! hostel. And in addition, the server got switsched off at 10pm so all the guests had to share this PC and only got time until 10pm. Normally I think they would've had 2 PCs but one of them didn't work. Other hostels offer wi-fi for 5 $ a day.
