Customer Travel Tip: Stay for the minimum time possible

Liked: Salta is just a hub for other attractions. The only thing I enjoyed was cheap wine.

Customer Travel Tip: Hay mucho para ver en la provincia y la mayoría de los lugares están a varias horas de colectivo. Por esta razón extiendan lo más posible el tiempo que van a pasar ahí de manera que puedan disfrutar de la ciudad y también de las bellezas naturales.

Customer Travel Tip: 2-3 days is loads unless you are planning to do overnight activities/excursions. Supermarkets are cheap for steak dinners so make sure your hostel has a kitchen and cook your own! Wine also cheap from supermarkets!

Liked: Nice cafés/restaurants, nice souvenir shops, the view of the city from the gondala.

Disliked: Not a whole lot to do - 2/3 days is loads

Customer Travel Tip: There are more things to see in the surrounding areas like Humahuaca and Cafayate so don't spend too long in the city go enjoy the other places.

Liked: I used Salta as a base for seeing the area and only spent a day in the town and enjoyed it but there isn't a lot to see in the town itself.

Customer Travel Tip: If you're coming from Bolivia, be prepared for the new expenses! Salta is way, way, way more expensive!

Liked: I just loved the VIBE, it has this youthful culture that is teeming with energy. It's an absolutely beautiful city to walk around in and soak the environment.

Disliked: At times it got way too hot, but that's not Salta's fault.
