Customer Travel Tip: When arriving at ezeiza airport, get the Tienda Leon shuttle, it´s way better n cheaper than a taxi. Only 80.00 pesos / 40.00 reais / 10.00 dollars.

Liked: culture, nightlife, romantic place, gorgeous city.. just lovely! I love everything about this city.

Disliked: due to economic crisis, sometimes you may have to deal with beggars asking for money, they really insist you to give them some moneda.

Customer Travel Tip: Go to the weekend market near Iglese Pilar. It is well worth it and in a lovely area of the city.

Liked: It is a vibrant colourful city with many things to do and a lot going on. The weekend market was great with a range of leather goods, hand made goods and artwork for sale at reasonable prices.

Disliked: It did not seem very safe. I had some things stolen out my bag. There were a lot of people begging. The public transport was not clearly sign posted.

Trip Type:

Customer Travel Tip: Stay in San Telmo and ask the locals for their tips of bars, restaurants, and tango nights to go to; try to stay away from the flashier nights organised by some hostels, as it doesn't give you an authentic experience of the city, which the porteños are so passionate & proud of. Also go for a historical walking tour! Great way to get to know the city & history at the same time.

Liked: The city has a lot of history, the people of lot of character, and there's something in the city for everyone. It's also relatively compact around the central area, so you don't feel too overwhelmed once you've done a tour of two.

Disliked: To explore certain parts of the city (like heading for Palermo during the nightime) you were limited to taxi rides for the most part, so if you're a solo traveller you'll find that costly. Didn't think much of Puerto Madero, but that's just personal opinion I'd say.

Customer Travel Tip: Nice things to do: Sunday fair on Defensa, free tour of Casa Rosada on weekends, Recoleta cemetery.

Liked: People are extremely nice. The food is good (but portions are way too big).

Disliked: When the weather is bad, BA is not much fun. We were there in the end of August and it was very windy, cold and raining. A lot of things close on Mondays and Tuesdays and it is not always announced clearly.

Customer Travel Tip: Almost all the stops from the hop on hop off tour are worth a visit

Liked: The weather is most of the time very nice and I enjoyed walking and relaxing in the parks eventhough you can still here all the traffic. And there is a lot to see in BA which is worth to discover :)

Disliked: A lot of traffic and the way of driving here is crazy! Almost all men make disgusting comments when you walk past them, especially when you have blond hair, that is really annoying. You have to be very careful, especially at nighttime.

Customer Travel Tip: Take your time, as one day is defenitely not enough to see this gorgeous city!

Liked: Culture

Disliked: Airport connection from Ezeiza to the city center. For the budget backpacker this might turn out a problem. Try Aeroparque airport if you can, as that one is located right in the city center.

Customer Travel Tip: Take care and have fun.. And if you have enough time. Try visiting the rest of Argentina. Tucuman, Salta and Jujuy are really nice places and the cheapest destinations (Northwest).

Liked: The city is really nice and you have activities for all ages and tastes. The Argentine Peso is very cheap, so the change is really good for foreigners.

Disliked: The city is not very clean. And people constantly tell you to be careful with mugglers.
