In theory, spring is here. However in London, where I’m sitting right now, the snow’s just melted and the wind’s coming direct from the Fortress of Solitude. I’m pretty much reading travel blogs to keep warm. Here are the ones that’ve cracked my icy heart with a sliver of March sunshine…
Blogger of the Month
Shannon O’Donnell from A Little Adrift
In 2008, Shannon left her career as an actor in LA to travel solo round the world; finding volunteering opportunities and trying delicious vegetarian eats every step of the way. In 2011, she picked up her 11-year-old niece to explore Asia and homeschool her on the road. She’s currently residing in Mexico…
Five reasons we love Shannon:
- She’s written a book to show you how to find volunteer opportunities while travelling.
- She has an insane amount of resources for RTW travel planning
- She posts screen-lickable food photos and recipes
- She tells a candid personal story
- And she shows another side to destinations
