We can’t believe how nice the weather has been the last couple of weeks (knock on wood!).
All this glorious sunshine has us dreaming about summer days filled with lazy afternoons sitting outside of the pub, leisurely strolls around the park, and of course – travelling away to sunnier locations when the real (rainy) British summer kicks in.
So here are the blogs that have been inspiring our summer plans this month…
Blogger of the month
Beth & Randy from BeersandBeans
This photographer/journalist duo went on the first RTW trip back in 2010 and have been traipsing around the globe ever since! In addition to interviewing people and covering interesting stories on their travels, they are also commited to volunteering and offer resources for others interested in lending a helping hand.
Oh and in case you were wondering – Randy’s the beer and Beth (a vegetarian) is the beans!
Five reasons we love them:
- They take incredible photos
- They are big fans of ‘wwoofing’ (WWOF = World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms)
- The write helpful travel gear reviews
- They host weekly Pin Up Live events on Pinterest
- They love other bloggers!

What about us?
On the HostelBookers blog we’ve been in serious summer mode, thinking about beach clubbing and summer music festivals.

We’ve got you covered on the summer music scene too with these 10 Unmissable Music Festivals in Europe 2013. But if you’d rather skip dirty portaloos and trudging around in the mud, then read our No Ticket for Glastonbury? No Problem… post.
One last blog post of joy
