The results of our Travel Photo Competition with Rough Guides are in. And the winner is…Caving!
We asked you guys to vote on the blog from our six finalists, and an overwhelming number of you responded. With so many amazing entries posted on our Flickr page, it was a tricky task, but we think you chose wisely!
This fantastic image was taken by Tim Curtis at the Keystone River Cave, Tennessee. One of the deepest caves in the USA, this photo has got us itching to visit Tennessee!
If you’re planning a road trip around the Deep South, this scenic state has bags of southern hospitality, and miles of beautiful nature walks and trails in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Then there’s the melting pot of musical heritage – stay in a Nashville hostel and catch some classic country music, or check out Memphis for Graceland, the home of Elvis Presley.
Thanks to Tim and everyone who entered – the lucky guy has won a copy of Earthbound: A Rough Guide to the World in Pictures.
But don’t worry if you missed out! We’ll be back with the next round soon – check out our Flickr Group for more photo fun!
