January's a perfect time to make plans for the year ahead, so we thought we'd help you out by picking our favorite must-see destinations from around the world:

Great Wall of China, China
Undoubtedly one of the great wonders of the world, the wall covers 6,700 kms and is over 2000 years old. With so many superlatives available to describe it, the one key message is that this is a must see attraction! check prices >>

Machu Picchu, Cusco, Peru
Take the four day hike through the Andes to arrive at the jewel of the old Inca Empire. In a stunning location high on a mountain peak, and surrounded on 3 sides by the Urubamba river, this was one of the few Inca settlements the conquistadores never found. check prices >>
Moreno Glacier, El Calafate, Argentina

For nature at it's most breathtaking check out the Perito Moreno Glacier in Patagonia. This 250 square km, 60 meter high glacier puts on a show with chunks of ice the size of houses regularly crashing from the front edge of the glacier into the lake below. check prices >>

Uluru, Alice Springs, Australia
Bang in the middle of the country - and miles from anywhere - Uluru (or Ayers Rock) is one of Australia's best know natural wonders and tourist sites, and with good reason! Made of sandstone, this 346m high rock is 8km around, and appears to change colour as the sun moves overhead. check prices >>

Angkor, Siam Reap. Cambodia
This stunning collection of over 1000 Khmer ruins was the site of the Khmer empire's capital city until the 15th century. The centre piece is the main temple - Angkor Wat, which is thought by many to be the largest religious monument in the world. check prices >>
