Liked: Very friendly staff and nice breakfast.

Disliked: Finding the hotel was little bit tricky and road to hotel is so narrow we almost did not dare to drive there.

Liked: It IS a gorgeous property, with sea views, the staff were very helpful (english spoken was basic, but okay) and the breakfast was very good by Italian standards. Complimentary coffees/granitas on arrival and a recommendation (and voucher for a special discount) to a local restaurant led us to well-priced good food within walking distance.

Disliked: Access to the site was significantly more difficult than indicated. Also, we had booked 'double rooms for 4 people' (two couples) and they had misunderstood this as '4 people in one room', which they were going to charge us the 'double room' rate for!! We were able to obtain a second double room on the first night, and shared a two bedroom apartment the second night, but changing rooms wasn't ideal, and had they been fully booked, my husband and I would have been sleeping on bunk beds in a room with my brother in law and his wife! It all turned out okay, but was more stressful than it needed to be.

Liked: My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay at Casale Antonietta. The staff was so so lovely and helful and super friendly and they both speak perfectly well english. The property is beautiful, and has a nice view over the sea with plenty of space to relax, with sun loungers, chairs, tables... Great stay, perfect for couples and families. They also have a great deal offer if you want to go visit Capri. the deal is 35 euros / person for a pick up & drop off by the hotel, private boat to the island and the boat also goes round the entire island. you then have 5 hours to enjoy and visit the island by yourself or with the guide for an extra 20 euros / person.

Liked: Lovely quiet little place out of the madness that is Sorrento. But loses nothing by being away from the action. Up a steep tiny pathway to get to the hotel itself but once negotiated is a top place. Staff were amazing and helpful and the restaurant their is amazing. look out for pizza night, divine stuff!!

Disliked: The shower was tiny! big bathroom but randomly tiny shower cubicle which for a tall bloke was impossible and led to lots and lots of flooding incidents!

Liked: The location was fantastic - see view from the garden, peace, calm. Sorrento is a very crammed city with many-many tourists, but this place was close to Sorrento but still peaceful. The staff was friendly and helpful, we can use the internet everytime we need, they printed our online check-in. Only at the reception speck english well, but we understand everyting - maybe some question by ordering dinner at they restaurant. Alex is really nice and helpful, if you need something just look for him! The room was clean, they changed every day the towels (but we didn't ask and didn't need). We eat some nights at they restaurant. That were really good and delicious. Don't miss it!!! At the reception you can apply for a Capri tour. (with a guided tour around the island and 5-6 hours free program)

Disliked: Not everybody speack in english. Sorrento center is 20-30 minutes light walk. (for us it was an advantage - and we rented scooter) The breakfast was monotonic, the same every day.

Liked: Very peaceful environment. The rooms are super clean, safe and got everything you will find in three star hotel. I loved mostly the big beautiful garden with wonderful view, specially breakfast time. It was fantastic. Unfortunately, I have not try their restaurant in the evening, but the set-up looked good Thanks to Marco and Anna. I will recomand this place to everyone.

Disliked: Maybe the coffee could be better.

Liked: This is a great place to stay a little off the beaten track with lovely staff and a location close to sorrento

Disliked: For travellers on foot, the property is a 15-20 minute walk uphill from downtown sorrento, but definately worth the trip.

Liked: The property is more than what had been mentioned in the introduction, Some comments did it injustice. Everything about it is perfect.1. Helpful staff - especially Marco and his father. Very good people, They make you feel at home.2. Accomodation - You will be pleasantly surprised.3. Atmosphere - View from the garden of the coastline is breath taking. The 2 dogs, Kyra and Fendi (the Alsatian) are wonderful. Fendi, has an obsession with rocks. He likes to fetch rocks when thrown.4. Food - You have to let Marco whip up his specialty. Chicken and fish.

Disliked: This is not a dislike but for those who hates walking, it is about a 10 minutes walk uphill from the main road to the property. For us it is ok, as it is good excercise and a chance for us to take in the fresh air and view.

Liked: Very pretty place, friendly staff and a nice comfortable room. Also had a good breakfast included in the room price. Great value for money because of the slighly out of town location, so if you don't mind the walk (or bus ride) a fantastic place.

Disliked: Slightly out of the centre of Sorrento, about a 30-40 minute walk from the train station, or there are buses, although they are not that regular so you would probably need to check the timetable first. There was building work going on while we were there right next to our room, but to be fair it was November, so very out of season, I don't think this would be a problem for anyone staying here in the summer.

Liked: nice environment, calm, nice terasse! but not located in the center (about 40 min walk alon the street) or by bus. Very cheap! Good value for money!

Disliked: Cleaning of the rooms only after check-out

Liked: This place is wonderful. The rooms are serviced everyday, breakfast is a great spread, the garden and dogs are gorgeous... if you can speak Italian you can get to know the wonderful Alec, who constantly goes out of his way to make your stay fantastic. Highly recommended - the price is amazing for the experience you get here! Only downside, if any, is the walk from the city (although it's a really nice walk, and has a great view!) - not too taxing, but does take 15-20. Bus stop is right outside the door though if you don't want to walk. Well worth it!

Liked: it was wonderful. the property was beautiful, the views stunning, the rooms clean and modern, the staff were very friendly and helpful, - they even did our washing! - we had such a nice time there, it was really great. i would recommend it for travellers that are starting to get sick of cities especially, it is a nice break on the headland yet with a country setting, and there is lots to do. we loved it!

Liked: It is a charming looking place and very clean. The room was the best I stayed in and more like a hotel or BnB.

Disliked: The staff are NOT very helpful. If you don't speak Italian, don't go there. I was very sick one night and couldn't find anyone even tho I knocked on several doors. I was in agony and there were no options. Furthermore, they didn't offer any advice about the locale, reccommendations or how to get around. They are very expensive with the internet and there is only one bench outside where it works. Finally, the food they make is not very good. I was extremely dissatisfied with this locale as an English speaking, solo traveler.

Liked: Location is great if you want a 'country-side' stay, there are many pleasant, scenic walks in the area. The orchards must look amazing when the protective nets are down (though they were mostly covered while we were there). The road walking to town can be hairy with the traffic zipping past, but you can take the bus or (if you have a decent map or GPS) there's a pleasant back street walk down (which has fireflies at night). The restaurant is pleasant, and has views of mount Versuvius and the bay.

Liked: it's really great hostel i've ever stayed. the way to get here is very complicated. but once you find out this hostel, all angers instantly go away! staffs are likely to help visitors and very caring. i miss that polish staff. even though he was not good at english, we could communicate by smile. :)! very touched. i could enjoy great view just in front of room. person who wants to rest in comfortable, peaceful atmosphere, i strongly recommend here.

Liked: I was provided with my own separate dwelling with double bed and bathroom. It was fabulous and definitely the best stay I have had so far. In fact I stayed on an extra two nights. Highly recommended.

Liked: They cancelled one night of our two night stay at very short notice. They didn't care until I notified hostelbookers and got them involved. It really put a wrench in our plans and was not very nice on their part. It is hard to get to from the city and with poor english and poor customer service I will tend to say to stay away.
