Vancouver's hippest, most dazzling International Backpackers Hostel is enjoying its 8th year of ownership.

Situated in downtown Vancouver, we are within walking distance of Chinatown, museums, shops, nightlife and steps from the site of the future Vancouver Olympic Games.

C & N Backpackers Hostel is the longest existing and most reputable hostel in Vancouver. Twenty years in the same location has garnered our international hostel in Vancouver with a reputation as a safe, clean and friendly environment. And you don't need to spend a fortune to visit one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Guests from around the world frequently stay with us on more than one occasion because of our exceptional value and the high level of service we provide.

Situated at the eastern end of False Creek, across the street of the future Olympic game Opening ceremony we are surrounded by luxurious condos and are within walking distance of business, entertainment and recreational amenities such as public tennis courts, shore-line cycling, and scenic walking paths.

The Hostel is one block north of the Main Street/Science World Skytrain Station. City Buses #3 and #16 stop right across the street from the Hostel. Vancouver's main Bus Depot and Train Station is situated across the street and approximately 200 meters to the left.


Since taking over, we have invested a lot of money renovating the interior of the Hostel, and we are planning to give the exterior of this 1926 Heritage Building a face lift in the near future.

The Hostel is lovely, but simply furnished. It is our priority to keep the facility spotless, clean, safe and comfortable. Our trained, friendly and international staff is happy to assist you in planning day trips as well as information on how to reach sightseeing attractions. We can help you in English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean, Farsi and Turkish.
