Unlimited gap year travel with JetBlue
JetBlue Airways is offering hostel-staying travelers a unique opportunity to fly to any number of the airline's 56 destinations for a fixed fee.
Backpackers can part with $599 (£362) to purchase an All-You-Can-Jet Pass, which would allow unlimited travel over a period of one month from 8th September 2009 until 8th October 2009.
Holders of the pass will not be subject to blackout dates and can book flights up to three days before departure.
The offer begins today and runs until 21st August 2009 with those on their gap year travel being able to stop off at Bogota, San Francisco, Seattle, New York, Chicago and Barbados, among other destinations.
Robin Hayes, executive vice president and chief commercial officer for JetBlue Airways, commented: "The All-You-Can-Jet pass gives jetsetters access to a bigwig lifestyle, with 56 destinations and more than 150 jets available at a moment's notice."
"Become a groupie for your favorite band; grab a ticket to the away games; extend summer with some extra rays in the Caribbean; take a spontaneous trip to see the extended family; or grab some genuine jambalaya or clam chowder."
He added that backpackers could do all of this while keeping to a tight budget, much like going on a road trip.
