Hostels in Dublin prepare for Bulmers International Comedy Festival

Hostels in Dublin are likely to be filling up as the countdown to the Bulmers International Comedy Festival continues.

The event is set to run from 6th September 2009 to 27th September 2009 and will see a wide range of different acts perform in various venues across the city.

Acts confirmed to appear include Michael McIntyre, Jimmy Carr, Paul Merton and Brendan Burke, who have appeared on television shows such as Have I Got News For You and Live at the Apollo.

Meanwhile, venues that will host shows include the Laughter Lounge on Eden Quay, the International Bar on Wicklow Street and the Tap Bar on North King Street, meaning that people visiting the city will not have to travel far to get from gig to gig.

Tickets for the shows vary in price depending on the gig being attended and an end of festival party called the Crack will take place at the Olympia on the last night of the festival.
