HostelBookers donates five holidays to charity
As part of its fifth birthday celebration this June, HostelBookers has announced that it will be donating £2,000 to the Family Holiday Association (FHA).
The funding will be used to provide holidays to five families who would not be able to afford a vacation without such assistance.
Among the other activities being undertaken by the budget accommodation specialist is an online competition, in addition to the special beach hostels bed promotion that is being run in the first week of June.
Congratulating HostelBookers on its achievement, John McDonald, director of the FHA, expressed the charity's gratitude for the generous donation to help five families.
"We'd like to thank HostelBookers for helping families in this way - for children, their first visit to the seaside will be a memory that will last forever," he added.
In the past five years, HostelBookers has enjoyed significant growth, increasing its portfolio of properties from 800 to 14,000 and its workforce from five members to over 75.
