Fly Europe with Air Berlin city pass
Travelers planning their gap year abroad can now take advantage of the Air Berlin city tour pass, enabling them to explore Europe while making savings.
The initiative is likely to be welcomed by cash-strapped young people who are looking to explore the continent on a tight budget, cutting costs by staying in hostels and taking advantage of all available discounts.
Backpackers aged between 18 and 27 are eligible for the tickets, which will enable them to board five flights on one of a number of specially selected routes, for just 199.
Flights that depart from the UK and stop off in Germany from July 2009 until August 2009 will be covered in the special offer.
Travelers are advised to log onto the Air Berlin website as soon as possible and book one of the 3,000 tickets before they run out.
Itineraries available as part of the offer include Stansted - Dusseldorf - Berlin - Stockholm - Hanover - Stansted and Stansted - Munster/Osnabruck - Rome - Vienna - Dusseldorf - Stansted.
If stopping off in Berlin, travelers may wish to experience the cultural arts scene and vibrant nightlife of the city that has proved a major draw for young people in recent years.
