Croatia is one of the best places for budget backpackers to visit, according to Charisma PR.
However, aside from its picturesque countryside, many are likely to be attracted because it is such "good value for money".
According to a spokesperson for the PR firm, which represents the Croatian National Tourist Board, travelers will not suffer from an unfavourable euro exchange rate.
She said: "It is very reasonable because it is outside the eurozone, so it's still good value for money because the pound is not particularly strong against the euro at the moment.
"The countryside is very beautiful and the beaches and the water are very clean."
Croatia was recently voted one of the ten best ethical destinations for 2008 by the Ethical Traveler.
The report highlighted the country's "large percentage of protected eco-regions" among a list of the 70 other developing nations surveyed as part of the research.
