Galway racecourse in Ireland is stocking up on Guinness in anticipation for next week's festival, which officials expect will be a particularly popular year.
More than 200,000 visitors are expected at the 2008 Galway Summer Festival Race meeting, which kicks off on Monday, 28th July.
Track manager John Maloney told Galway News: "Preparations have been going very well. The ground is in good condition and we watered it on Tuesday and the going is 'good' at the moment.
"The deliveries of food and Guinness and drinks are beginning to arrive and John Sherry and his team at Lydon House who are doing the catering have done a great job to get everything organised."
Hostels in the area are likely to be buzzing hives of activity once the event kicks off.
The first race will start at 5:10pm on Monday, with events coming to a close on 3rd August.
