
Tourism officials in Vietnam have unveiled the first phase of a new "exceptional" tourist attraction to rival Las Vegas, it has been revealed.
It is hoped that the Ho Tram Strip will rival Vegas in all but its Nevada Desert location, with a series of nightclubs, hotels and casinos all set to get
flashpacking gambler's hearts racing with excitement.
Paul Steelman, chief executive of Steelman Partners, which has been selected to construct the new complex, has high hopes.
He said: "The Ho Tram Strip will combine entertainment, adventure and leisure vacations into one exceptional vacation experience."
However the complex, hailed as the country's biggest tourism venture, is not expected to be fully completed for another ten years.
It would seem that visitors to the local Ba Ria beaches will be able to take advantage of the first set of attractions as early as 2010, developers have stated.
