Gap year travel schedules will have a more laid back twist in Brussels this May as the Belgian capital welcomes jazz fans for the annual Brussels Jazz Marathon.
But contrary to the misleading title, this three-day event taking place between May 23rd and 25th is far from a hasty dash for the finish line.
With more than 50 venues expected to take part, the Brussels Jazz Marathon is also an excellent way to experience some of the city's impressive nightlife at its best.
But visitors can also gain access to all of this year's exclusive concerts for free, allowing budget travelers to spend more on Brussels other cultural attractions.
This year's event features both indoor and outdoor shows, including performances from the Ben Van Gelder Trio, Guillaume Palomba Quartet and the Laurent Doumont Soul Band.
