
This year's Food and Wine festival in Manly, Sydney will be accompanied by a Sustainability Fair, it has been revealed.
Those on
gap year travel adventures in Australia will be able to join more than 30,000 other attendees and sample some of the most coveted delicacies from around the world.
Food at this year's two day event is complemented by the Manly Sustainability Fair, offering innovative and informative advice and demonstrations on how to live a sustainable lifestyle.
Volunteer co-ordinator Sonya Tirtajaya told the Manly Daily: "It is rewarding knowing you are contributing to a healthy, sustainable community.
"It is also rewarding because it is a social event."
Tourists can then stroll down to the beachfront and along to the oceanfront stage where bands will be entertaining culinary guests.
This year's festival takes place on Saturday 31st and June 1st and will also feature a whole host of jazz and world music performances in addition to the unforgettable beach games programme.
