Edinburgh is serving up a treat for traveling children and families in this May as it hosts the Children's International Theatre Festival, also called Imaginate.
More than 14,000 children aged up to 14-years-old are expected to attend, with productions including Aesop's Fables from England's Scamp Theatre.
Running from May 27th to June 2nd, the festival will also host international productions from as far and wide as Canada, Italy and Denmark.
My House and Surprise are the pick of the bunch for the two-plus age group, while those aged seven and above have no less than seven plays to attend.
Parents are advised to book
hostels within close proximity to the performance venues, which include the North Edinburgh Arts Centre, Assembly Rooms and Lyceum Studio Royal Lyceum Theatre.
For those unable to make it to Edinburgh, the festival is set to tour select locations until June 11th, including Glasgow, Inverness and Falkirk.
