The new London Eurostar terminal at St Pancras International seems to have impressed customers with its service far more than the new Heathrow Terminal 5.
More than eight in ten of users polled as part of the Ipsos MORI independent customer survey indicated that the new station "met or exceeded" expectations, while no-one claimed to be disappointed with the level of service.
Moreover, the poll also suggests station has been so successful at satisfying the traveling public it has even attracted the interest of non-travelers.
High-speed Eurostar services run between Paris and London 17 times daily, with ten services to Brussels and Disneyland Paris, offering a greener alternative to air travel for
backpacking travelers.
Dominique Didinal, marketing manager at St Pancras International claimed that the station's cultural programme had played no small part in its success.
She said: "These findings come as we open more shops and cafes at St Pancras International and our cultural programme has been launched with a free public exhibition of contemporary photographic portraiture."
