Gap year travel enthusiasts staying in Barcelona can now kill two birds with one stone when they visit the latest exhibition at the Sant Saver church.
The current display of artwork from Lluis Rene i Padrisa is likely to catch the eye of sports fans and artisans alike.
For Padrisa is not only famed for his artwork, but was also one of the most renowned goalkeepers for the Catalan football club Barcelona, with whom he won several accolades between 1907 and 1914.
But the current display of 50 of Padrisa's paintings could well change the opinions of some unconvinced critics too.
Meanwhile, Barcelona's mayor Jordi Hereu opened the new Art Centre Global Dialogues on March 7th.
